Who is responsible

Gamemur is an independent project. You can contact the person responsible for the site about anything in this policy at contact@gamemur.com.

What is stored without an account

Your progress (coins, level, records, favourites, daily results and your language choice) is saved only in your browser, in local storage. We do not send it to a server and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies of our own. Clearing the site data in your browser deletes it. Before that you can create a save code in the Arena section to move your progress to another device.

Optional accounts

Creating an account is optional and never needed to play. If you create one, we store your email address (to send you the sign-in code), the public name you choose, an optional country, your official Arena results, your coin balance and a copy of your progress so that it can be synchronised. Your public name, country and points appear in leaderboards only if you allow it. We keep this data until you delete your account.

Providers that process data

Supabase provides the database and the sign-in system; our project is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt region). Brevo sends the emails that contain the sign-in code. Vercel hosts the website and, like any hosting provider, processes technical request data such as the IP address to deliver the pages. The fonts are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts.

Advertising and cookies

At the time of writing Gamemur does not show advertising and does not use advertising cookies. We plan to apply for Google AdSense. If it is switched on, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to show and measure ads, and ads may be personalised depending on your choice. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we will ask for your consent through a consent message and we will not load any advertising script before you answer. Coins are never earned by viewing or clicking ads.

How to change or withdraw your consent

Use the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page to open the settings again, review your choice and change it at any time. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Your choice is stored in your browser.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive a copy. You can delete your account from Settings, or write to contact@gamemur.com. If you think we are not handling your data properly, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Gamemur is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

If we change how we use data, for example when advertising is switched on, we will update this page and the date above first.
