GTA VI platforms: what is reported and what is not announced (PC)

Reported platforms
Press coverage of Take-Two's 7 August 2026 earnings call gives PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the launch platforms. Gfinity Esports is our source for this. We have not checked the original Rockstar note, so on Gamemur this is labelled as reported by the press and not as official.
The second trailer was captured in-game on a PlayStation 5, according to Gematsu. That says how the footage was made; it does not say which platforms the game will be sold on.
The PC question
A PC version has not been announced in any of the sources we follow. We therefore list it as not announced.
You will find articles that treat a PC release as certain or as coming later. Unless they link to a statement from Rockstar or Take-Two, we treat them as speculation.
Why the labels matter
Gamemur uses four labels: official (the company said it), reported (the press says so and we have not seen the original), rumour (circulating without confirmation) and unverified (we do not treat it as true). A platform list can fall in different labels at once, as it does here.
If a label changes, for example when Rockstar publishes a PC announcement, we update the page and the review date.
Practical advice
Before buying hardware for a specific game, wait for an official platform list on Rockstar Newswire. Pre-order pages in stores can contain mistakes, and the platform line is easy to misread.
