Spider Solitaire: how to play
Spider uses two decks and ten columns. The goal is to assemble eight complete runs from king down to ace, each in a single suit; every finished run leaves the board. Gamemur offers one suit for a relaxed game or two suits for a tougher one, and counts completed runs out of eight.
Controls
Tap a card to select it and everything below it, then tap the destination column; tap it again to cancel. The Deal button, which shows how many deals remain, puts one new face-up card on every column. Cards are reachable with Tab and activated with Enter or Space.
Rules
- Ten columns start with 54 cards, only the last of each face up; 50 stay in the stock.
- A card may go on any card one rank higher, whatever its suit.
- Only a same-suit descending run moves as a group.
- A complete king-to-ace run of one suit is removed automatically.
Tips
- Build on cards of the same suit whenever you can; mixed stacks block you later.
- Empty a column early and use it to rearrange runs.
- Deal only when you have run out of useful moves.
Modes, undo and rewards in Gamemur
Switch between 1 suit and 2 suits with the buttons above the table; each change starts a new game and your choice is remembered. Undo keeps up to 300 steps. Winning pays 120 virtual coins in 1-suit mode and 200 in 2-suit mode. Coins have no cash value and are used only inside Gamemur.
Phone and keyboard
Moving takes two taps, so there is no dragging across ten narrow columns. Cards scale to fit, and buttons and face-up cards can be focused with the keyboard.
Frequently asked questions
What changes with two suits?
The eight runs are split between spades and hearts, so more cards share a rank with another suit and suit order needs careful planning.
Why can't I deal?
Dealing is blocked while any column is empty. Fill the gap first.
Does the hint show the best move?
It picks a legal move that scores well, such as matching suits or uncovering a hidden card. It is a suggestion, not a solver.
